There’s some NBA action in the early hours of the morning, and as usual, has prepared some betting tips for four matches. Feel free to take his tips and use them on your bet slip.
11 Feb 02:30 Boston Celtics v Charlotte Hornets
Just like last season, the Boston Celtics are running the East and here they are playing a team that’s inferior and they always dominate. The Hornets have been struggling with getting a dominant center and they recently traded away Mason Plumlee. They do not have the defense that will be able to stop the Boston Celtics, I see a big win here. The Hornets have lost their last 5 and only once did they manage to cover the spread, this Celtics team is well-rested and will get an easy home win here, give them a spread to cover.
11 Feb 02:30 Toronto Raptors v Utah Jazz
Here you get a team that has won their last 3 games and a visiting team that has lost their last 3 games. Now the last time they faced each other, Utah got a nice home win but this time around I am backing the Raptors to win here. When it comes to allowing points, the Jazz are 23rd. Now the same way they lost to the Mavs will happen here, the Raptors are a top-ten defensive side and just like the Mavericks they are bottom when it comes to pace. It’s unclear whether the Jazz will buy out Russell Westbrook but he won’t be making his debut here, and they are already short-handed having traded away Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt. Take the Raptors to make it four wins in a row here.
11 Feb 05:00 Portland Trail Blazers v Oklahoma City Thunder
There is only one bet for this game and that is the over. The Thunder are coming from a good win against the Lakers and in that game they made 17 3-point field goals, shooting at 50%. Both teams can certainly shoot from beyond the arc but they are not known for their defense, each allowing a ppg of 114+ for the season. The line is set very high for this game and that should tell you everything, take the over.
11 Feb 05:00 Sacramento Kings v Dallas Mavericks
We’ve got a great underdog here and this bet is reliant on one player, Kyrie Irving. The Mavs won their last game and they were underdogs with odds of 3, here they are either going to pull off another upset or cover the spread. Kyrie had a great debut as a Mavs player with a field goal percentage of 53%, now if he shoots anything like he did against the Clippers he can carry the Mavs to another win here. The Kings are not good defensively, they struggled in their last game against the Houston Rockets! Luka Doncic’s status might change later during the day but take the Mavs here.
