India v South Africa Third T20I – 3 Bets To Take

The Proteas produced a much-improved performance in Sunday’s game and will be looking to end the series on a high.

India South Africa Cricket Betting

The three-match T20I series between India and South Africa concludes at the Holkar Stadium, Indore on Tuesday afternoon. Although the series has already been decided with India taking an unassailable 2-0 lead, the Proteas produced a much-improved performance in Sunday’s game and will be looking to end the series on a high. This contest could be much closer than the previous two with India expected to make changes to their XI.

Lwanele Poswayo has 3 bets to take for the third T20I in Indore.

South Africa

Even though this match is a dead rubber, the Proteas will be eager to end the series on a high and go into the world cup with some sort of momentum. There are a lot of questions around the Proteas’ selection at the moment with Temba Bavuma preferred ahead of the in-form Reeza Hendricks.

The Proteas actually have a good T20I record in India. The teams are level at 5-5 since their first meeting in Dharamsala in 2015. I don’t see South Africa losing this series 3-0 so back them to win this one.

Aiden Markram

At the moment, Aiden Markram is South Africa’s most consistent batter in this format. He averages 41.05 from 23 innings and has made a single-figure score only three times. From 6th November 2021 onwards, he averages 61 in six innings. He’s record in Asian conditions is also impressive averaging an immense 58 with a strike rate of 141s.

He’s looked good in both games with scores of 21 and 33 so I expect him to finally get a big score and end the game as South Africa’s top batsman.

Most Sixes

India have won the sixes count in both games of the series so far. In fact, the Indians have struck the most sixes in their last six T20Is against all opposition. The likes of KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav are hitting form at the right time with both hitting sixes for fun in the series so far.
