Daily Spread Betting Round-up
There was plenty of online betting action at the weekend and we have rifled through the results to bring you three big winning bets from the last few days.
Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.
The French seaport of Lorient has seen plenty of battles over the years, but Saturday saw a one-sided rout as Lille came to town. With the score 0-0 at half-time, eight second-half goals saw the visitors run out 7-1 winners on the Atlantic coast.
Former Southampton man Romain Perraud opened the scoring before Matias Fernandez-Pardo doubled their lead. Lorient pulled one back after 63 minutes, but Fernandez-Pardo notched his brace, with four more goals coming for the visitors after the 80-minute mark.
So many late goals were always going to be good news for buyers on the Total Goal Minutes spread at 131-141. The late flurry of goals saw the spread settle at 587 as buyers landed a win of 446x their stake.
One of the biggest shocks of the Super League season happened on Friday night as Salford recorded just their third win of the season with an away victory over Warrington. The Red Devils have been doing it tough this season and failed to field a team lately due to the off-field issues and the sheer number of departures they have suffered.
Sent off at 25/1 to get the two points, tries from Jack Darbyshire, Tiaki Chan, and a double from Justin Sangare helped the Red Devils secure a famous 25-12 victory over their hosts. For Wire coach Sam Burgess, this was another defeat in a season that has tailed off alarmingly, and the former Great Britain star faces a fight for his job.
With Warrington scoring just six points in each half against a side who have shipped 1038 points this season, it was a good day for sellers on the Warrington Multi-Points spread. This market multiplied Warrington’s first-half points total by their second and settled at 36 against a pre-match spread of 506-552. This left sellers claiming a massive win of 470x their stake.
The Dutch Grand Prix was one to forget for Ferrari fans after both of their drivers failed to finish at Zandvoort. An early crash ruled Lewis Hamilton out of contention, with Charles Leclerc ruled out after a collision with Kimi Antonelli on the 53rd lap.
Oscar Piastri extended his lead at the head of the Drivers’ Championship, with Lando Norris also recording a DNF in the Netherlands. As for our F1 spread betting markets, one of the big winning bets was a buy on Ferrari Multi Finishing Positions. This market multiplies the final positions of both drivers together, but it is capped at 12 for both drivers.
Before the green lights at Zandvoort, the Ferrari spread was 40-45, but with two DNFs, the market settled at 144 as buyers recorded a maximum win of 99x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
