IRISH ST LEGER TRIAL STAKES – PUPPET MASTER (SETTLED AT 0)

Four went to post for the Group 3 St Leger Trial Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday with the aim of becoming the first to win both this race and the Irish St Leger since Flag Of Honour in 2018.

The famous Aiden O’Brien/Ryan Moore combination had Puppet Master as their hope, and the grey was sent off as strong 26-29 Race Index favourite for this year’s renewal. However, Moore’s mount didn’t really make much of an impression when asked and was eased off to finish over 12 lengths behind the eventual winner, Leinster.

Finishing outside of the top three meant that the 50-25-10 Puppet Master Race Index spread settled at zero as sellers won 26x their stake.

DERBY COUNTY v COVENTRY CITY – GOALS CUBED (SETTLED AT 512)

One of the more unusual scorelines in the footballing pyramid this weekend saw one of the biggest wins for football spread betting punters. Coventry City’s 5-3 comeback win was a superb result for those who had bought our Goals Cubed spread at 26-30 before kick-off.
