FOOTBALL – PREMIER LEAGUE

After a long summer break, the Premier League is back this weekend, and it gets underway with Bournemouth’s trip to Liverpool on Friday evening. With a points spread of 78.5-80, Liverpool are 19/10 favourites to retain their title after a busy summer transfer window.

Arsenal, with a big-name striker finally through the door, are next in our Premier League odds at a price of 23/10 with Manchester City made 16/5 shots. At the other end of the table, Burnley and Sunderland are both odds on shots to go straight back down at 2/7 and 2/5 respectively. Priced up at 13/10, Leeds are given a chance of staying up, whilst Wolves at 3/1 and West Ham at 5/1 rank as the most likely of the incumbent sides to face the drop.

The transfer window has been dominated by the merry go round of attackers and it will be interesting to see how they get on. You can buy or sell Viktor Gyokeres’ season goals at 15.5-17, Florian Wirtz’s total at 9.25-10.25, and Benjamin Sesko at 10-11.5.

Liverpool are 2/7 shots to get their campaign off to a winning start, but the game of the weekend comes from Old Trafford where Arsenal are 21/20 to get all three points over the Red Devils. Also new for the season is our 2 Up Match Odds market which sees your side paid out as a winner if they go two goals up.

GOLF – BMW CHAMPIONSHIP

With Justin Rose winning a thrilling play-off last week at the St Jude Championship, the top 50 in the FedEx Cup head to Maryland for the BMW Championship. As ever, Scottie Scheffler is the market principal at 12/5, with Rory McIlroy priced up at 15/2. Tommy Fleetwood – seemingly the ‘nearly man’ of golf – blew another lead last weekend, but he is 16/1 alongside Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele to finally break his duck.

Defending champion Keegan Bradley is 50/1 to retain his title, but with five places paying 1/5 odds, Scandinavian duo Aberg and Vicktor Hovland (28/1) have been popular pick amongst our golf betting punters.

The action gets underway on Thursday and we will have plenty of gold spread betting markets available as well as match-up bets from Owings Mills.

RACING – MIDWEEK RACING AND HUNGERFORD STAKES

There are plenty of intriguing cards for horse racing spread betting punters ahead of the Ebor next week, with Newbury’s Hungerford Stakes the highlight on Saturday. Should he stay in the race, Notable Speech will likely be the favourite for the Group 2 contest, but Charie Appleby has indicated his charge could head to Deauville instead.

Elsewhere, it is the St Wilfrid Handicap at Ripon on what is the showcase day for Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse. We will have horse racing spread betting punters covered all week with our Daily Markets and Lengthen The Odds specials.
