Chelsea have made a solid start to the season, taking 17 points from ten games to sit seventh in the league table. This comes despite the Blues having suffered a number of injury blows, including losing star man Cole Palmer back in September. Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernández and summer signing João Pedro have put in solid performances for Enzo Maresca, and Blues fans will be encouraged by the occasional flashes from Brazilian youngster Estêvão. Can Chelsea move into the top four this weekend?

Wolves’ abysmal start to the Premier League season sees them sitting dead last in the table, after failing to win a single game this campaign. A 3-0 loss to Fulham last weekend saw manager Vitor Pereira dismissed, with his side on just two points following the opening ten games of the league season. The club are currently searching for a replacement, with former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag reportedly a potential candidate. However, it’s likely the side will be led by an interim staff this weekend. Can Wolves turn a corner and get their season back on track?

Hosts Chelsea head into this one as clear favourites, with both form and home advantage on their side. You can back them at 1/3 to win the match, or in our 2 Up Early Payout market, which pays out if your team goes up by at least two goals at any point, at the same price.
Visitors Wolves make the trip to West London as underdogs. You can back them to win the match at 7/1, or at 6/1 in our 2 Up Early Payout market. If you’re expecting a stalemate, you can back a draw at 4/1.
A look at these two sides’ head-to-head record only goes to confirm Chelsea’s edge, with the Blues having won the last three encounters. This includes a thrilling 4-3 victory at Molineux earlier this year in the EFL Cup, which saw Chelsea survive a late scare after leading 3-0 at half-time. Will we see another high-scoring clash on Saturday?

Spreadex also has a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash. Our “Goal Supremacy” market has Chelsea favoured by 1.4-1.6 goals. This means if you expect Chelsea to win, you can “buy” and if you expect either a draw or Wolves to win, you can “sell”.
Our popular “Total Goals” market is currently set at 3-3.2. This is for the total number of goals scored in the match by both teams. If you’re expecting a high-scoring game, you can “buy” on this market. You would then need at least four goals in the game to turn a profit, with this winning 0.8x your stake, a five-goal game winning 1.8x your stake, and so on. However, if there were three goals or fewer in the match, you would lose money, with a goalless draw losing you 3.2x your stake.
If you expect a lower-scoring affair, you would “sell”. In this case, you would need fewer than three goals to turn a profit. A 0-0 draw would win you 3 times your stake if you sold, but if we saw another 4-3 result, you would lose 4 times your stake.

Price Boosts are usually available on the Spreadex website the day before the game. We also have our featured ‘Popular Bet-Builders’, which have been put together by our pricing team.
These two sides have played out some very high scoring encounters in recent years, with three of the last four meetings producing at least six goals. If you expect this trend to continue, you can back over 5.5 match goals at 15/2.
