Millwall’s start to the season has been a mixed bag of results. The Lions began strongly with an impressive away win at Norwich City, but have managed just one victory in their last four matches. As a result, they currently sit 13th in the table. However, with only two points separating them from the top six, Millwall remain well within reach of the play-off spots, where they’ll be aiming to finish come the end of the season.

After an exciting summer that included the high-profile signing of Nestory Irankunda from Bayern Munich, Hornets fans were full of optimism heading into the new season. However, life under new head coach Paulo Pezzolano has proven challenging, with Watford managing just one win from their opening five games. That slow start has left them sitting 17th in the table.

Our football spread betting prices have hosts Millwall as the favourites with a Goal Supremacy quote of Millwall/Watford 0.25 – 0.45. This means a 'buy' bet at 0.45 would need Millwall to win by at least a goal to start turning a profit (e.g. one goal win would win 0.55 x your stake, two goal win 1.55 times your stake etc.).
A 0.25 'sell' bet would need either a draw or Watford win to turn a profit (e.g. draw would win 0.25 your stake, one goal Watford win 1.25 your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 2.2 – 2.4. So a 2.4 'buy' bet would need at least three goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 2.2 sell bet would need two goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 2.4 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 2.4 times your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 0.45 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw the bet would lose 0.45 x your stake. If Watford won by one goal then it would lose 1.45 x your stake etc. And in the 0.25 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.75 x your stake on a 1-0 Millwall win, 1.75 x your stake on a 2-0 Millwall win etc.

The last time these two sides met at The Den, Watford pulled off a dramatic 3-2 victory, with Mileta Rajović netting a stoppage-time winner. That goal meant the Last Match Goal market settled at its maximum of 90. For Monday night’s clash, the spread for the Last Match Goal is currently 59–62, so if there’s another 90th-minute goal, a “buy” at 62 would return 28 times your stake.
With five goals scored in that previous encounter, the Total Goal Minutes market made up at 329. Ahead of this meeting, the spread sits much lower at 110–120, suggesting expectations of fewer goals or less dramatic timing.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So for example if the game ended 0-0, Total Goal Minutes and Last Match Goal would make up at 0. This means a buy on Total Goal Minutes at 120 would lose 120 times your stake and a buy of Last Match Goal at 62 would lose 62 times your stake.
